Bus crash report referred to A-G

SITIAWAN: The Cabinet has referred the report by the independent inquiry board investigating the high-decked bus crash in Cameron Highlands to the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha said the report was tabled before the Cabinet last month after the board completed its investigation into the Dec 20 crash, which claimed 28 lives, mostly Thai tourists.

The crash occurred at the 15th kilometre of the Cameron Highlands-Simpang Pulai road when the tour group was in Malaysia to attend the Quantum Pendant multi-level achievers marketing dinner.
