Six hurt and others injured as bus crashes in NSE ditch

IPOH: Six passengers of an express bus were slightly injured when the vehicle they were travelling in crashed and landed in a ditch on the North-South Expressway (NSE).

Tapah OCPD Supt Roslan Bek Ahmad said the bus, with 35 passengers, was on its way to Arau, Perlis, from Kuala Lumpur during the 4.15am incident yesterday.

Supt Roslan said initial investigations showed that the driver lost control of the bus before it crashed, adding that both drivers on board had valid licences.
