Cop in coma after crash

KUALA LUMPUR: A police inspector is in a coma after his motorcycle rammed into a lamppost near Jalan Tun Sambanthan while he was chasing two men believed to be drug addicts.

Muhammad Shukri Hat, 31, from the narcotics department of Brickfields district police headquarters has been admitted to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre with severe head and internal injuries.
