Woman claims to be road bully victim

KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old woman claims she became victim of a road bully after the car she was driving accidently knocked the rear of another car driven by a man in Ampang, near here, last week.

MCA Public Complaints Bureau chairman Datuk Michael Chong, in relating the incident today, said Wong Lai Yee was turning to the left from Jalan Ampang in front of Ampang Point at noon on Monday when her car hit slightly the back portion of the other car.

"During the incident, the victim was with two of her children, aged 12 and 20. Immediately after the accident, both the victim and the man stopped their vehicles. The man, in his 40s, scolded her and punched her right hand.

"He also told the woman that she was arrogant and even kicked the door of her car causing it to be dented," Chong told reporters at his office here.

He said the victim was not satisfied with the man's action and had asked her son to record the suspect's behaviour, but was threatened by the man instead.

Chong said after that, the man just drove off and the victim lodged a report at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters on the same day.
